Walk and Talk Coaching Session:This is one of my favorite ways to work with clients because the motion seems to pry open closed doors. Exercise enhances cognition directly affected by blood flow. Research shows that when we exercise, blood pressure and blood flow increase everywhere in the body, including the brain. More blood means more energy and oxygen, which makes our brain perform better. Another explanation for why walking enhances our mental capacity is that the hippocampus, a part of the brain critical for learning and memory, is highly active during exercise. When the neurons in this structure rev up, our cognitive function improves. This is not about gaining speed in our step but being in a healthy natural environment while we work together in meeting your goals.
Phone or Face time Coaching with email follow up: This is the most popular coaching session for clients because it allows them to utilize their time and ability to have a coaching session from anywhere there is internet. Research reveals that we are more likely to utilize critical thinking skills in an online discussion. We participate more regularly and in a more thoughtful manner than we would normally do in a face to-face session. Clients often achieve greater cognitive and exploratory drive towards meeting their creative deadlines. In addition, a summarizing and goal setting email correspondence will follow all sessions. Clients are required to shut off all other electronics while we are in session so that our focus is not disrupted.
